Telegram is an application which offers instant messaging and VoIP service. The app which was built and developed by Telegram Messenger Inc. was launched by Nikolai and Pavel Durov in August 2013. Telegram allows users to send messages, photos, audios, videos and any type of file. It is available on Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, Windows Phone, and Windows NT devices. It is also available for users to have a conversation via its web platform.

Telegram is a software application which provides messaging and voice over IP (VoIP) services. Users can create groups and channels to host conversations and broadcast messages. A group can have up to 200,000 members while channels can broadcast messages to unlimited audiences. You can find users by phone numbers and usernames. Telegram is a messaging application which is fast, safe and secure. Messages sent on the platform are protected with an end-to-end encryption feature. Messages sent via this platform is secured on the platform for up to a year. However, if the account is inactive for a period of six months, it is automatically deleted along with all media files. Audio Calling

Users can make free voice calls using Telegram. This feature was added to the platform in March 2017. Calls made using the software is also end-to-end encrypted.

Secret Chats

To further establish privacy, users can now have private conversations on Telegram. Messages sent using this chat feature is encrypted with the service’s MTProto protocol.
